Last April 25 was celebrate in Langtang a tribute to the missing in the avalanche a year ago. They came some familiar and foreign friends who shared the ceremony with local survivors of the tragedy.
Among all shared the pain of loss, and some who was here for the first time they could really understand what happened. I think until you’re not here and really see with your own eyes, you fail to understand why so many bodies still have not been able to found under tons of rock. So it’s best to say goodbye and accept what happened.
In the following video we can see the time Austin Lord appoints all disappeared one by one, while they are going on a nice paper lanterns with their names.
Thanks Beck Cooper for this beautifull video.
We hope everyone back to visit us in the future, but to enjoy this peaceful place and share with our people the joy of living, trying to outrun the feeling of death and destruction. We will always remember our loved ones, and why was this tribute and recorded their names in stone, but do not remind pain, because then it will not let you advance in your way, it’s like a big stone do not let your soul be lifted. We want to get up and move on.
Thank you very much to everyone for making this possible.
